All boarders will be checked for fleas and treated as needed at the owner's expense.
Boarders may be picked up and dropped off without restriction from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and from 7:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturdays. You may pick up or drop your pet off after hours but only during these set times: Sundays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
To ensure the health and well-being of our boarders and employees, all boarding animals must have current vaccinations according to Bocage Animal Hospital protocol. The owner must show proof that the following vaccinations were given within the past year and Bordetella for dogs has been given within the last six months:
- DOGS - Rabies, DA2PPL (7-in-1), and Bordetella
- CATS - Rabies, Leukemia, and 4-in-1
If your pet lacks any of these vaccinations, they must be updated before the animal will be allowed to board.
Please note: Some animals are not good boarders. They refuse to eat, become aggressive, and/or soil themselves. We will address these problems as they arise and do what is in the best interest and safety of your pet as well as our employees.
Attention: Bocage Animal Hospital and its employees will not be responsible for any items (leashes, towels, toys, beds, etc.) brought in with the animal. The ONLY exception to this rule is cat carriers.
Reasonable precaution will be used against injury, escape, or death of this pet. The clinic and staff will not be held liable for problems that develop, provided reasonable care and precautions are followed. I understand that any problem that develops with my pet will be treated as deemed best by the staff veterinarians, and I assume full responsibility for the treatment expense involved.
