Dr. Regan Gonzales
Veterinarian
We are excited to announce our newest addition to the Bocage Animal Hospital team, Dr.Regan Gonzales!. Dr. Regan grew up in Saint Amant, Louisiana where her love for animals began. Since the age of four years old, she dreamed of being a veterinarian. Dr. Regan went on to complete her undergraduate and veterinary medicine education, both at LSU, where she graduated in 2019. She developed special interests in surgery, dermatology, and clinical pathology. While at LSU, Dr. Regan played trumpet for the Golden Band From Tigerland for 4 years. She has also been a pianist since she was 7 years old. When Dr. Regan isn’t seeing patients, she and her husband Scott spend their free time traveling to major league baseball stadiums around the country. Together, they have one cat named Yuki. We are all excited about the new skill set Dr. Regan will be offering to our practice.
Keya
Receptionist
Keya was born and raised in New Orleans. Her passion for animals began when she was in the 4th grade. She has one fur baby named Princess. She relocated to Baton Rouge to attend LSU. Keya is currently majoring in Animal Science and hopes to attend LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. In her free time she loves to shop and volunteering at different rescues.
Macy
Receptionist/Veterinary Technician
Macy was born and raised in Baton Rouge. She studied psychology at LSU, where she was a member of the Golden Band from Tigerland and the LSU Colorguard. Macy began working at Bocage in 2019 and has over 7 years of experience in veterinary medicine. In her free time, you can usually find her at her camp in Mississippi, devouring true crime documentaries, or writing. Macy loves all critters, but especially her puppy (Rhys), chunky cat (Romeo), and bearded dragon (Nacho).
Tori
Veterinary Technician
Tori grew up right here in Baton Rouge. She recently joined the team this past October and has 6 years of experience as a veterinary technician. In her free time Tori enjoys reading and listening to podcasts. Tori has three cats, Mr. Fluff (9yo Maine Coon), Marley (4yo Turkish Angora), and Ember (9mo Siamese and American Bobtail mix), who are her world.
Lyssa
Veterinary Technician
Lyssa is a Plaquemine native. She is very passionate about working with animals. She has 8 ½ years of experience in the field. She was looking to grow as a technician so she moved over to Bocage last August. She is excited to grow her skills and is looking forward to going to school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. On her off days, she enjoys being outdoors and taking care of her two spoiled furbabies, her silly cat Milo and her lovable doggo Mila.
Kennedy
Veterinary Technician Assistant
Kennedy is new to Baton Rouge. Hailing from Calhoun, LA, she served as an animal control officer and rescue agent for 3 years. This is her first job in a veterinary hospital and she’s loving it. On her days off, Kennedy likes to tend to her plants and take her puppy Bonnie on hikes.
Emmie
Animal Care Coordinator
Emmie was born and raised in Baton Rouge where she is now attending LSU. She is majoring in Animal Sciences and hoping to attend veterinary school there. Emmie has two dogs, Scout and Mocha, and has been an avid horseback rider since middle school, competing in show jumping. She loves being outdoors and spending free time with her family and friends.
Alex
Animal Care Coordinator
Alex hails from Eunice, LA and has worked at Bocage for over a year now! He was recently accepted into the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2028. When Alex isn’t studying or working, he enjoys playing golf and being a full-time cat dad to Mr. Toast and Tofu.
Abigail
Animal Care Coordinator
Abigail comes from Baton Rouge and is currently a senior at LSU, majoring in biology with a minor in animal science. She is hoping to be accepted into LSU Veterinary School next cycle. She loves LSU football and is a member of the Tiger Band. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her Yorkie, Lena Belle.
Jacob
Animal Care Coordinator
Jacob was born and raised in Lafayette, LA. He received his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at LSU and is currently a vet student at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. He has worked at several veterinary hospitals throughout college and has been at Bocage for a little over half a year. When Jacob is not working or studying, he enjoys running ultramarathons as well as taking naps with his two cats, Beans and Ginger.
